Weather in Penang
Penang Island enjoys a wonderful predominately sunny year round climate. However, being an off shore island, the temperature is often higher than the mainland, with temperatures reaching as high as 35°C during the day.
In general, daily temperatures are between 29°C - 35 during the day and 26°C - 29°C during the night. June, July and August are the hottest months of the year. The rainiest periods are from April to May and October to November so during the monsoon season expect heavy downpours.
